There is one hitch. The licenses must be verified. But Linda Daschle (formerly of the FAA) is working on that:

Linda is also a lobbyist for the airline industry. I suspect we'll see airlines requiring drivers licenses be checked by Intelli-Check very soon. And from there, the machines will spread.
