That's "The Big Lib'ral Lie" and yer buying into it, my FRiend. A huge majority of Americans get ABSOLUTELY NOTHING OF VALUE from the Federal Guv'ment save the protection of our borders by the Military. Period. Sure, a lot of BureaucRATS get paid decent paychecks fer doing little-to-nothing of value, but if their jobs are so durned important, let the States pick up the slack. Methinks most States will say "Thanks, but No Thanks" to continuing much of the krap that our Federal Taxes now pay for...and those will be the States who enjoy the most growth and prosperity, while the Lib'ral-dominated States will continue to struggle and lose their population base.
I sincerely believe we can decrease Fed Spending as a Percentage of Gross Domestic Product from its present 24%+ to less than 12% by 2012 (1% per year)...then keep on going in cutting the Fed Budget to anywhere from 4%-8%!! And Economic Growth will EXPLODE into the Stratosphere once we've released it from the shackles of the Federal Leviathan!!
