You'd manage, as would I...but ain't it great havin' Cyber-Buddies to hang out with after the wimpy folks crash a HOOt?!! After I put the kids and the Missuz down, I went down to the Fan to crank a few tunes with the HipJazzCatz. A coupla of them had gone up to the local tavern to earn'em a free meal, but Mongo and The Artiste were workin' the ol' JMU Strap Jam pretty tight, so I bugged in fer a few blues...too bad we didn't get that on tape!! Anyway, I finally got the recorder workin' properly, and we set into a good Clapton jam...then the trouble started......
Yeah, the Artiste's ol' lady called from DeeCee and asked why he didn't bring back the cigarettes, then Mongo learns that his ol' gal's datin' the sax player fer My Ol' Army Buddies...then Fingers almost-EX-wife phones in from South Florida...SHEEEESH, all I want to do is record a coupla songs, DETHRONE the EX-POTUS, and sing to Limbaugh's 25 million folks, LOL!! But all I get is static!! Next year--I promise--Slim's Christmas CD goes double-platinum...or else my name ain't...MUD
