"Have you heard Rush's NEW parodies, by any chance?" By chance, I've got Shanklin's latest on cassette and will mail you a copy if you'd like. Here I was worryin' about what to get you fer Christmas this year, and Paul Shanklin and Ol' Rusty immediately came through fer MUD again!!
"Muddy1, these are the BEST, funniest ones I've ever heard."
Yes...I'm thoroughly-impressed as well...Shanklin's set the bar quite high.
FReegards...MUD
BTW...did you notice that he did "The Twelve Days of Ramadan"...coincidence or no?! Only the all-knowing Landru can answer that!!
That's be anyone's guess if the release time were geared to come out now, Mud; hell, I'm just a machine & an old one at that.
Off hand, I'm thinking it was released so people would order copies as gifts?
I have to say it'd make an
excellent gift to a war-weary conservative...laughter being
medicine for the soul, & all. ;^)
But let's face it; PShanklin's imitations of a Taliban Mullah singing (comlete with *accent*) was so damned funny I would NOT laugh; just so I wouldn't miss the context of the words in the story!!
K would love a tape of that, btw; of course, so would I.
And using the *new* computer I got for xmas?
~I could always burn *you* back a digital copy on CDROM.
...Twelve Days of Ramadan indeed!!
