Something else that bothers me is that their nice, neat version of the world doesn't address what will happen to all the medicine or food that is grown because of technology! Are they willing to see most of the entire 3rd world die of starvation and disease because there's no longer any technology?!

Very important catch, Gemflint. While it's true some of the eco-nuts have resorted to terrorism, it was not many. Interesting that they talk about anarchy, since these people really want total government control of everything. If we had true anarchy there would be, well, anarchy rather than nature. If you were well enough armed, you could poison any river you wanted. To get their dream of a "green world", they need a great big government to enfoce it.

Rush is right, the "environmental" movement is the new home of the "communists"; although I dispute that term - even communists know communism won't work with anything smarter than ants.
