We need to counter this to win. ANY LEGAL MEANS NECESSARY.
Disheartening to know there are places in the U.S. like Houston willing to elect governing officials based on race-baiting, personal slander, mischaracterizations, raising taxes, denying dubious backgrounds, lying -- wait a minute! Isn't that the modus operandi of Democrats during nearly EVERY major election??
That alone should be disturbing to any sane and reasonable person.
District D, currently held by race hustling crack fiend Jew Don Boney, had abnormally high turnout in voters at over 36%. Total turnout for everybody who voted is estimated to be in the 27-30% range. All other districts were consistent with that turnout EXCEPT for Boney's.
And yes, to any freepers unfamiliar with Mr. Boney, "Jew Don" is his real name.
Throughout the campaign, Williams tried desparately to tie Orlando Sanchez to Dr. Steven Hotze, a Falwell-esque fundie activist in Houston who has lots of enemies, even among conservatives. Williams' only link that he could ever establish was that Hotze had simply voted for Sanchez, but nevertheless he wrote an entire article attempting to link sanchez to hotze, plus parts of several other articles. Just to show how lazy and inept, not to mention biased, Williams is as a reporter, please consider the following excerpts collected from his articles on Hotze and Sanchez:
"Hotze, chairman of Conservative Republicans of Harris County, has fought against gay rights and abortion for more than 15 years while urging that government adhere to the moral directives of "biblical Christianity." "(JOHN WILLIAMS, HOUSTON CHRONICLE 11/12)

"Brown has aired commercials calling Sanchez "an extremist" and an ally of Christian right activist Steven Hotze , who urges that government adhere to the moral directives of "biblical Christianity."" (JOHN WILLIAMS, HOUSTON CHRONICLE 11/25)

Williams sure has the cut and paste function on his keyboard figured out!
