Ashcroft also refused to honor eleven subpoenas from Burton's Gov't Reform committee to testify on 9/11/2001 about documents concerning DOJ and FBI criminal conduct going back thirteen years to the Bush senior administration.

With all due respect to the Congress, I think Ashcroft was just a little too busy to squeeze in a Congressional hearing on September 11th.

Well, I doubt Ashcroft will ever find time to respond to the eleven Burton Committee subpoenas. How much more time should Congress give the man, it has already been two months and three weeks?

Do you think that AShcroft should appear at all and if so when?
