Well, we have many groups immigrating to the US for different reasons. Multi-culturism is alive and well. That is one of the reasons we are becoming balkanized. Assimulation is not a fact of life these days. There are many groups facing problems in their own nations. We cannot solve the world's problems by allowing everyone to immigrate to the US.
