Gabz, it's so bad here. This is Wisconsin, right? You'd think by the weather reports we have never seen snow at all! It's incredible, it's laughable. What's worse, is the population believes it. My parents get all scared. I tell them, 'How did you deal with it 20-30 years ago?', and they come back to reality........
I really feel sorry for businesses though. The reporters talk about how bad it is (re: 1/2 inch of snow) and they have no business at all. It's almost pathetic. Ha, I go anyway! The worse the report, the more I feel it's my duty to go out!
Actually .. when I grow up I want to be a Weather Reporter .. it's the only job I know that you can totally screw up and NEVER get fired .. lol
They are bad about it down/over this way also ..
That's basically my attitude around here.
As long as my husband is driving!!!! I'm joking - but no one around here knows how to drive if there is any snow - and that includes the people who are plowing the roads.
