Fiddlestix mentioned Mud (I know he was talking to a freeper) and it reminded me about something I will probably bring up more than once during this THON!!!

I'm originally from Ney York City and used to work in the financial district. I have lots of memories from the Twin Towers of the WTC and the destruction of them has hit me hard.

Shortly after the "incident" I was at the puter and my 3 year old was trying to climb in my lap. I was on FR and had followed a link that showed a picture of OBL. Jax (short for Jacqueline)asked "Mommy what's that mans name?" - I was still so upset - I just said - MUD.

I've created a little patriot. If she sees a picture of him, TV or newspaper, she informs us - "President Bush is mad at mud because he broke those buildings. President Bush is going to punish mud."

I was also born and raised in NY. Most of my friends, and some of my family still live there. I love going to the city during the Christmas season especially. I'll still go there now.
