I would like to state that while one time donations of any amount are much appreciated, it is far better to set yourself up to donate on a monthly basis so that Free Republic can have a steady flow of revenue with which to meet its operating expenses.
Doesn't matter if it is only $5 a month. In fact, if 5,000 Freepers could donate $5 a month, current operating expenses will be met with any other donations being gravy, moneys that can be used to grow the organization.
Setting up a monthly donation is ridiculously easy to do. Simply follow this link and you can set it up in less than a couple of minutes using your debit or credit card. You can donate whatever amount of money you want by selecting the Other Amount option and entering the value you desire. Don't feel bad if you can only afford $5. That is still $60 a year that will go towards supporting your favorite website. And remember, if everybody that came here on a regular basis gave just $5, not only would we not be seeing these fundraiser threads all the time, but we'd probably be starting our own cable network news channel!
