I can fly fish and shoot a357 magnum

Have you tried using a dip net to land them? It's not so messy.

I don't know if I use a 'dip net' but I use a net because my hand get sore. I have only fly fished for trout. It's really fun. I like it much better that regular fishing (expect in cold water). I even have one of those nifty wicker baskets (I can't spell crewel) to put them in with grass and everything!
