Here it comes. The link between Al-Qaeda and the US miltia groups. Uh, no. The only people making that link are the tin-foilers here on FR.
This article has no "revelations". It has a speculation that the FBI agent MAY have meant to include OKC in his complaint. It has a story about a note found in Afghanistan commenting that a formula was used in OKC. As if that were a secret! I can prove anything with this standard of evidence.

If the formula used in OKC was not a simple ANFO explosive, I think that is a secret. At least the government has not admitted it.

The only thing the media are picking up are their inflated paychecks and the latest polls on their own popularity. I read this news of the bomb formula find in Kabul a few days ago and the analysis of the OC bombs having been much more powerful than supposed months ago.
Careful thought finds that the muslim and militia types like McVey have a common tie--they both hate our govt.and would like to see it brought down.(I DO distinguish between militias--I do not think all or even most are like the group McVey belonged to.)

aristeides, your reply #20 is absolutely correct. Remember last year I posted the article from the Daily Oklahoman and also court transcripts that fresh dynamite wrappers were found in the Murrah Building rubble. Was this the dynamite used in the bomb described in the notebook found in Kabul?
BlueDog-Please make sure the author of this article, Kellie Donovan, is made aware of this info via Jayna Davis and Reed Irvine at Accuracy in Media. You might want to make sure the Wash Navy Yard men and Wolfowitz have all the details (if they don't already).
ratcat and BlueDog may also want to make sure all this info gets to Jim Patterson at the Indy Star. Maybe Dan Vogel would like to comment on the bomb ingredients found by the FBI?

I don't know whether that's true. I've heard the same thing, but have never searched for them. It's mind boggling, the number of sites that exist on the www.

I do not think all or even most are like the group McVey belonged to.)Be careful with this. McVeigh did not belong to *any* militia. He was tossed out of the one meeting he attended. The OldDominantLiberalMedia has always tried to paint him as a "militia" member, but he never was.

I should have said all those groups "labeled" militia by the media.Did you watch Ted Kopel's program covering militias a couple of years ago ? They tried to tar and feather ALL of them as ultra-right-wing-Nazi-skinhead,dangerous organizations and gave opportunities to all the accusers of these orgns. to talk and talk, and talk, while cutting off those who would speak in favor. Kopel was the moderator, but his show was so biased to showcase the "progressive"point of view that I haven't watched him since-can't even remember the name of his show.

The CIA is using the Islamic cells for their purposes - the fed.gov brought them here and are protecting them now. If there is any truth to your fears, then I hope the earth is moving under their feet.

I should have said all those groups "labeled" militia by the media Shoot. Any one belonging to the NRA could be labeled militia.
All patriotic Americans who would defend their country in time of war or time of revolution SHOULD consider themselves part of the "Militia."
I do.
