--my opinion, what REALLY needs to happen, is at least one network completely lose it's FCC monopoly frequency broadcast license for violating it's terms of serrvice, chronically. Perhaps with at least one main industry insider willing to talk, others may follow, and there can be a lawsuit or six. Class action or dotgov sponsored, I do not care, but one of them needs to go, to scare the other ones to report straight neutral news. Not any wussy fine either, lose their freek-ing license. It amazes me there come up for review, zilch happens, you got to know they have THOUSANDS of complaints all the time, but nothing happens except WHAM, rubber stamp for another year, they get to make a zillion more bucks, and thoroughly screw with the political system in this nation.

, what REALLY needs to happen, is at least one network completely lose it's FCC monopoly frequency broadcast license . . . there can be a [Class action or dotgov sponsored] lawsuit or six.

I can't imagine why it isn't done . . . except that everyone assumes that it would go the way of the suits against the IRS . . .

Why Broadcast Journalism is
Unnecessary and Illegitimate.

I'd sure like to see it done--as the above link clearly shows.
