Requesting the library order a book for you is a great way to backdoor good reading material into circulation. I was surprised at how easy it was,the two or three times that I've done it:just walk up to the desk and request they order the book. A week or so later,they call you and tell you that it's there for you to check out.

you have a big library, or is it a small town one? If it is big city one, it probably can buy more books.
