All the "questionable" individuals involved seem to be connected to Dr. Samir Khalil in one way or another.

I'm sitting here looking at Dr. Samir Khalil's 1979 dissertation from the University of Oklahoma -- "Western Style and Traditional Style Doctors on the West Bank: Content of Practice and Perception of Patient." I wish I could say it's an interesting read and full of unbiased, analytical research, but..........

Maybe I'm just not interested in the subject matter. ;-)

Excerpt from the Introduction:

The people of the Arab world live in a time of frustration, anxiety, and war. The residents of Jordan's West Bank are part of that world; they cannot be isolated, physically or mentally. To the individual of the West Bank, it has become a way of life to hear, constantly, bad news and rumors of war through the radios, television and newspapers.

The people of the West Bank have survived and experienced four major wars within the past twenty years. They are living under terrific strain from the intolerable pressure of the military occupation. As a result, the people of their society are sick and poisoned by fear, not only for lack of medical care or lack of food, but because they are suffering from foreign occupation and the consequent diminution of human rights.

Other little tidbits, just so I can make sure that your Friday night will be as boring as mine:

-His hometown is Jerusalem (born and raised on a farm)

-When he was 17, he moved from the farm to the city.

-Out of the 50 "Western style" physicians that he interviewed, I can find only one that he quoted: "One physician told me after I questioned him about the prevalence of infectious diseases, 'The Israelis would like to see the people suffer and leave the area, so they could build more settlements and replace the Palestinian by immigrant Jews.""

-Another description he gives of "Western style" docs: "The patient still trusts the doctor today, and puts his life into the hands of his physician, but the physician's interest seems to be sharing the wealth and getting the biggest piece of the pie. It is not surprising that most people on the West Bank still believe in the local healing treatment. I am reminded of an incident which happened at a dinner party I attended to celebrate the graduation of a bone specialist, during my study in the summer of 1978, in a little town called Burka. The young graduate's father fell and broke his leg and the first words he shouted were "get me a bonesetter."" (Just in case you missed it, this is a slam at the Western doc for calling for a Traditional doctor -- a "bonesetter healer.")

If I really get bored tonight, I could always go back through it and count the number of times he used the words, "the Israeli occupation." :-)

So they arrested a few gang members, so what? How does this tie in with the OK bombing?

This is how this works: First, you read the thread. Then you ask the stupid questions.

That way we'll all be assured that your stupid question wasn't just a fluke and you're really that stupid.

Otherwise it's all just a crap game and we have to take a wild guess at your intelligence.

Awwww Nita, you know that would take an attention span longer than a TV commercial. Don't they have a Classic Comics version of all this writing stuff for these Recent Graduates?

IIRC, Jolly West also conducted an examination of tim mcveigh. additionally, I believe it was posted that Dr. Kahlil was a student of Jolly West when West was at Oklahoma University (Norman, Ok., 30 miles south of OKC.) I don't recall, but there was also something posted re: mcveigh's employer in Buffalo, NY being involved in some type of behavior modification program????

anyway, here's an obit on Jolly from ucla source:

Cult expert Louis Jolyon West dies

[January 14, 1999]

Dr. Louis Jolyon West, admired and endeared psychiatrist and cult expert, died of cancer at his home in Los Angeles Saturday, January 2. Jolly West was 74. Dr. West began studying mind control with American soldiers returning from the Korean War after undergoing brainwashing through torture while in captivity. He headed the psychiatry department and Neuropsychiatric Institute at the University of California at Los Angeles for 20 years. During his accomplished career, he conducted court-ordered examinations of Jack Ruby and Patricia Hearst. In 1989, Dr. West retired but remained active, continuing his research and mentoring students. Dr. West was born in Madison, Wisconsin, and is survived by his wife Kathryn, son John and daughters Anne and Mary. A tribute to Jolly West from UCLA:

It's time to take down all these people and place the blame wherever it may lie. There is little doubt there are more than just Iraqis involved in this OKC attack. Covering up a crime used to be known as "aiding and abetting".

You guys are in the front rank of those who are actually doing something instead of standing around just wringing your hands. Congratulations and keep up the good work! It is more important for America's future than just about anything else that can be done.

I think what this means is that if you don't have the answers, you reply with personal attacks.

I had never read anything involving Iraqis and the OK bombing and I noticed that I wasn't the only one who asked.

If you think you have enough information that would implicate someone else in the OK bombing enough that they would get a lethal injection, why aren't you calling the FBI? Don't bother replying, I'm not interested.

This break in sounds like Watergate...recouping some embarassing evidence? Keep me posted on anything about Doc Khalil. Didn't he have some connection with Haidar and Ishan Barbouti of Florida bioterrorism fame?

Regarding Jolyon West and mind control...Atta looked to me like he was on something...amphetamines, my guess. Seems to be a lot of psychologists tied up in these escapades.(From Dr. Greenson and Marilyn Monroe to Dr. Khalil and the Iraqi Mafia.)

No, it means that I was impulsive and answered a very rude question with a very rude comment.  I'm not usually that rude.  Are you?

Look, if you had read the thread before asking OKCSubmariner to do your work for you, you would have seen that he already did some explaining in #17.   Beyond that, you can't expect someone to explain a complex, complicated six-year web of criminal activity, deceit and subterfuge in a short FR reply, especially when it's obvious you haven't even read the thread.

I had never read anything involving Iraqis and the OK bombing and I noticed that I wasn't the only one who asked.

No, you weren't.  But if you'll notice, the person up the thread asked in a nice, polite manner for an explanation.  If you're going to use that other person's query as a rationalization, then don't gripe at me for posting the two queries for comparison purposes.

The other person:

I read many of your other stories on the OKC bombing, but I don't quite understand this one. Could you explain it to me? Did one or two 1993 suspects in the OKC bombing broke into the home of another OKC bombing suspect? What is this talk about 1995 v. 1993? Why might this have occurred? I'm real confused.

You:

So they arrested a few gang members, so what? How does this tie in with the OK bombing?

It's been my experience in life that a question worded with the words, "So they        (blah, blah, blah...)       , so what?" is usually uttered by some dim-witted, beer-gutted 'know-it-all' who is simultaneously grabbing his crotch and spitting tobacco through his four remaining teeth.  Forgive me if I got the wrong impression and you're not normally that rude.

And I won't even ask you what impression you got of me.  :-)
