Yes, the story is a complete pile of bunk, but can’t you either refute it or ignore it?
Must you summon one of the trigger-happy church ladies in here to remove it from before your delicate eyeballs?
We have the resources and the knowledge around here to refute this stuff and expose it for the idiocy it is. That ability used to be one of the best things about this forum.
If you people get your way, there will be nothing interesting to read around here anymore.
It's been refuted a gazillion times in one form or another since 9-11. It just won't flush.
I work in defense for the Gov. and I'm in the Nat. Guard. I used to work in national level intell units. So I'm kinda sensitive on the idea that the CIA helped to attack the US.
This is actual enemy propaganda. Why spread it?
I don't care if the SM removes it or not. I've only written that once before for another reprehensible article on the same subject.
Well, whether the story is true or not, I can't say. This is the first time I've stumbled across this tale. The article, on one hand, is apparently well-sourced, with citations for each item.
On the other hand, the screaming horde of this thread:

So, without investigating further, the initial impression is that we have either a bunch of ignorant fools, or a group that is attempting to discredit the article with these stupid tactics because they are incapable of providing any legitimate rebuttal.
Honestly, if you haven't even read the article, what credibility do you have to comment on it??? That comment is NOT directed at you, dead.
Indeed, if this really IS "...a story that has already been debunked," then merely providing a link or some evidence of that 'fact' would have stopped this thread dead. (pardon the pun). Which, as you alluded to, was one of the great things about Free Republic ... it was a great assistance in verifying or debunking what the media said ...much more than a one person job.
Now, however, it is merely a pep rally for W ...Truth no longer matters ... ah well, it was too useful to last....
