Never heard of LeFigaro, nor Ruppert, and nothing said has convinced me there's fact, except that apparently binLaden did spend time in a hospital, verified by credible sources. Was the dead CIA agent sent to Afghanistan so he could be killed by another agent, because he knew too much? I would expect that to be LeFig's next bombshell.
Your next to last para re the Carlyle group is predictable.
For those who reject conspiracy theory on the basis that it is conspiracy theory, don't you think it's a bit naive to believe that those who find themselves on top of the heap will not go to great lengths to maintain their position? It is practically science for the British, who have been fighting to maintain a world-wide empire for 300 years.(e.g.the opium wars, and what is the largest export from Afghanistan?)[This has nothing to do with the English people]. There is a book called OSS(Of Spies and Strategems,James Lovell,Prentice-Hall,1963)in which the author insists that the British have been enngaging in just such conspiratorial activity since the time of the Spanish Armada. And these schmucks gloat as they watch the left-right battles in the US.The leftists that are the object of hate and ridicule on these pages may have fallen for the one-world scheme of the "international community",but they are not the true enemy. They are guilty of naivete and nothing more,as are those who reject "conspiracy theory" out of hand.So cheer on Tony Blair as America's best ally in this undertaking.(Like Thatcher during the Gulf War). This "international community" has been funding terrorists for just about as long as there have been terrorists, with the added benefit of copy-cats that they need not fund or otherwise control.
Well, at least we can always argue about whether we are really, really born again or not...

Yeah, the gullible tin-foil hatters are easily convinced. They also believed Michael Ruppert report about a videotape of President George W. Bush flying around in his airplane picking up kilos of cocaine.
The report of the CIA meeting bin Laden in the Dubai hospital is false. The CIA has categorically denied the report. The hospital has categorically denied it. Osama bin Laden has denied it too. Frankly, bin Laden has more credibility that Michael Ruppert in this matter.
Well, at least we can always argue about whether we are really, really born again or not...
I gave that argument up, and have declared myself a Potterist. 8-)
Who would have the most to gain from an Afghanistan pipeline? On whose coastline would it terminate? Who has no indigenous petroleum production and thirsts for a reliable supply? Who wants to be a player?
The answer to all the above questions is "Pakistan".
The whole "Big Oil-Afghanistan pipeline-9/11 Conspiracy Theory" is a shameless bunch of unsupportable crap, packaged by scam artists preying on poor souls desperate to believe in conspiracies.
Ruppert is only one of them.
The ceos and super wealthy are leftwing radicals. Baw haw haw haw haw haw........
Well, whether the story is true or not, I can't say. This is the first time I've stumbled across this tale. The article, on one hand, is apparently well-sourced, with citations for each item.
On the other hand, the screaming horde of this thread:
What an idiot!Seem to only be able to resort to inane comments, ad hominem attacks, and stupid tin-foil pictures.Into the trash it goes, unread.
And I'm supposed to read the rest of this nonsense?
...a story that has already been debunked
You and this hack writer are below contempt!
NOT ONE SINGLE QUOTE, LINK, OR OTHER PIECE OF EVIDENCE TO COUNTER THE ARTICLE
So, without investigating further, the initial impression is that we have either a bunch of ignorant fools, or a group that is attempting to discredit the article with these stupid tactics because they are incapable of providing any legitimate rebuttal.
Honestly, if you haven't even read the article, what credibility do you have to comment on it??? That comment is NOT directed at you, dead.
Indeed, if this really IS "...a story that has already been debunked," then merely providing a link or some evidence of that 'fact' would have stopped this thread dead. (pardon the pun). Which, as you alluded to, was one of the great things about Free Republic ... it was a great assistance in verifying or debunking what the media said ...much more than a one person job.
Now, however, it is merely a pep rally for W ...Truth no longer matters ... ah well, it was too useful to last....
It does almost seem that way sometimes, doesn't it?
