President campaign, is about to be nominated
to replace Darryl Wold as one of six
commissioners at the FEC. Word has it that
Mr. Wold was enjoying his stay at the FEC.

Just to be clear (for others) Wold is only a member not the Chairman. So Toner would just be nominated to be a member NOT nominated to take over as the chairman.
