In his mind's eye, the image of what Jose Antonio Serra saw in a burned patch of jungle on the Amazon's edge is still chillingly fresh -- not because the murder happened just seven weeks ago, but because there are some things a father can never forget.
What he found, a short walk from his family's mud hut, were the remains of his 13-year-old son: a figure on its knees, head buried in the dirt, genitals and middle figure removed with cuts that looked almost surgical. In shock, Serra noticed an odd detail: The mutilated body looked diminished, even shrunken. Then he noticed the gash in the boy's jugular vein, and realized that his blood had been drained.

Self-mutilation and the mutilation of others are both Satanic practices. In the article here we see an example of the mutilation of others, and the draining of blood for the purpose of drinking.
In Harry Potter we see a character mutilate himself in an act of "black magic" and we also see a character drink blood.

"What makes us different, makes us better"
I know exactly what the reference was. Your statement is worse than MCASEY's.
Solomon: Do you know already who is going to die in the next books?
Rowling: I know all of them who are going to die.
Solomon: Some of the characters we might love and you might love?
Rowling: I'm definitely killing people I love, yeah. It's horrible, isn't it? I cried during the writing of that one [Book Four] for the first time ever. It really upset me.
Solomon: It opens with a murder and then there's one at the end. I won't say who it is. You cried then?
Rowling: Yeah.
Solomon: But in the future there's --
Rowling: There's worse coming.
Do violent video games desensitize people? I heard a caller on Rush yesterday or today and heard the following. A military officer during the Vietnam war was assigned to study the "kill-rate" of our soldiers. He found that our soldiers often hesitated to pull the trigger. These troops were then desensitized by viewing or repeatedly acting out violence.
The "kill rate" thereafter increased substantially.
Then of course there is the Biblical prescription to "think on everything that is good, noble and pure."
What is the minimum one must do to ones own body to be considered "self-mutilation"? I'm not being sarcastic. I am actually interested in a real answer.
Why, looking for something else to obsess about?
Why?
I can't wait. (And thanks for the link).
You have no problem referring to someone as the spawn of Satan? (leave the Clinton's out of this).
