I generally try to keep my personal experiences out of arguments, because it is certainly possible to argue on principle in cases where you have no personal involvement with the subject. in this case, I do happen to have personal involvement, but that only serves to abolish the 'we don't know what's happening out there' argument.

The pedophilia persecution is always merely 'suggested" and 'implied". "We really don't know what's going on out there, but we think that they be molesting children..."

This is religious persecution, pure and simple
