and then, using circular logic,,/i> I prefer a really direct approach.......and here it comes..........

You can drag out the Bible if you wish sir. Do try to keep in mind though much of the original meanings have probably been distorted through generations of retellings as well as the simple act of translation from the original Hebrew and Aramaic, languages not spoken in that fashion for centuries. Also, keep in mind the Bible is not the only Holy Writ. The Koran, Torah and Bagda Shiva (sp) are considered by their respective religions to have the same weight as the Bible does to Christians.Yes, which of course the original author bore in mind when He said to himself, "they'll say these things".................

For the record, I prefer to believe Jesus did raise him from the dead.....and you thought this was a demonstration of what?
To: Snow Bunny
Very good. I blush easily. Sent a private note to FallGuy.

Most in the scientific community acknowledge that no matter how far back you trace the theory, you reach a point where human logic breaks down and the hand of a higher power would have to enter in.No kidding.
Also try to accept the fact that even the Catholic church accepts the theory of evolution on the premise that we know God created the world, we just simply do not know how.
I'm not Catholic......why don't you go ask them?
I do not wish to distort this into another of those tiresome Cre-Evo threads.
Again, me neither. Then again, you brought it up.

You can drag out the Bible if you wish sir.Silly me. I thought that we were talking about that. What was it that you thought we we were talking about?
To: EricOKC
All I ask is you do not support illegal actions brought against a different faith simply because in YOUR faith their actions could be considered immoral......oh, and what did you think we would do?...............kill the infidels?

Only on FR could a nekkid witches thread draw four hundred responses!
I wonder if it's the "nekkid" or the "witches" that is so interesting?

Any attempt to supress a religion based up disagreement with its beliefs IS persecution. Huhhhh??? OK Mr. Stalin. No more disagreement, Camrade.
