A cursory examination of the evidence indicates that if anyone was preparing for a violent confrontation it was ATF. In the weeks leading up to the blundered raid, agency officials were openly soliciting the assistance of military officials and the use of the Army Urban Terrain facility at Ft. Hood, TX. It is now known that these tactical preparations directly contradicted the express wishes of then US Attorney William Johnston who, according to the Treasury Department report "informed ATF early in the investigation that he would not authorize a search warrant" for the Davidian property "if it was to be executed through a siege-style operation."

A more careful examination of the evidence would reveal that it was Johnston himself who authorized the lightning raid that resulted in the deaths of the ATF agents. The responsibility for the deaths was laid at the feet of the ATF raiders themselves during the 1995 Congressional investigation.

Not mentioned in this article was that neither the ATF or the FBI produced a single shread of evidence either before or after the raid to support the claims made to obtain the original search and seizure warrant. There was no illegal meth lab on the premises. In fact, the congressional investigation shows that the ATF "lied" to the US Army in order to gain their cooperation. Nor were the Davidians illegally manufacturing what the ATF termed to be "Sten" or "grease guns". Neither agency has produced a single example of an "machine gun" illegally manufactured at Mt. Carmel either before or during the 51 day siege.

Sure, the feds made a big show during the congressional investigation, but when it came time to have Failure Analysis, Inc. examine the supposed machine guns to determine if they'd been modified prior to the time of the fire, the FBI slithered under their rocks and failed to supply examples of their "evidence" to support their claims.

FBI Forward Looking Infra-Red (FLIR) footage also provides documentary evidence that government forces were spraying the building with automatic weapon fire as the structure became engulfed in flames. Although the Bureau have repeatedly denied that its agents fired so much as a single shot during the stand off and its culmination, several examinations of the contested tape by no less than a half-dozen highly-credible experts dispute this contention.

Unfortunately too much importance has been placed on the FLIR evidence. Not surprisingly, when the physical evidence is examined, the claims made by McNulty & Co. in his videos evaporate. The words, "spraying the building with automatic weapon fire" implies that bullets were flying everywhere into the building. Yet, a careful examination of the video footage of the concrete building still standing after the fire shows that not a single bullet struck it.

By arguing the FLIR "evidence", the real physical evidence of the government's crimes that is the condition of the bodies is convienently ignored. (Waco: A New Revelation)

I disagree. The FLIR offers incontrovertible evidence to anyone who views it that the FBI fired into the building. It makes a firsthand witness out of everyone who sees it.
