I don't think TQ denied that the Bible does say such things, I believe his point is that it is rather irresponsible to post it right now... Unless your intention is to provoke the Second Coming. If that is what is intended, I know which side I expect you to be on, and it ain't the side of the Angels.

No need to flame me because you disagree with me.

Your point is that there are times when truth shouldn't be shouted so loudly. Of course there's the example of telling the truth about the fat person. Why is that wrong? One can argue there's a difference between fact and truth....that truth deals with the nature of higher order reality and it should never be compromised. One can also argue from the essentiality of the information one conveys to the fat person. It is non-essential.

The trinity is not just a convenient fact or a non-essential truth in the Christian faith.

If Jesus isn't the incarnation of the Son of God, then I'm cannot be sure that God really understands what it's like to be living in this skin that I live in.

You know, I've only actually flamed one person in my entire online life, and you are not that person. This is an opinion thing. You've got yours, I've got mine. They differ substantially. It is even possible that they both stink.

I don't know how many Muslims you know, but I have known several dozens, and met thousands. Most of them were no more the AntiChrist than you or I. Like most Americans, they just want to get along with their lives, make enough money to get along, and practice their religion without interference. They may even be possible converts to Christianity, but you're not going to convert them by calling them evil! You and I both must show them that we are decent people. Nothing says we can't smack the snot out of those (Christian, Muslim, Hindu, etc.) that do, in fact, threaten our lives, but smacking someone around just because they disagree with us is not very Christian. It is also illegal in this country, and if the Pastor who posted that sign is not lucky or blessed, someone is going to take action on it, and he will get blamed for it. It was, in fact, unwise for him to do so, even if the Bible does, in fact, say what he says it says. Since the Bible has been interpreted as saying Slavery is the will of God, and vice versa, among many other things, I'd be careful about accepting anyone else's interpretation on any subject. I don't know what your church teaches, but mine says everyone should read and seek to understand, and should pray extensively to gain that understanding. Good luck and God bless.

I find that a mosque in America is offensive to me, for my ancestors have fought and died for America for over 300 years, and I do not like to see opression moving in. Islam has not one thing to contribute to America, only negatives. I support our President, but he has proven himself very naive about Islam, and I think that someone does need to tell the truth as hard as it may be to take.

"The spirit of Islam is the spirit of the antichrist."

I have no problem with this and those who do must have been asleep on 9/11.

If Clinton was still President, he'd insist that they were 'just doing their thing.'
