Soy has chemicals in it that mimic the effect of estrogen on the human body.
As a male, I stay away from it.

You have to eat a lot of soy on a daily basis for it to have any effect hormonally and then it's negligible.

Actually, it has more than just the estrogen mimics. The soy you eat today is far different from the soy the asians developed their foods from; and the chemicals they put it through to come up with the "isoflavones" should make the vegetarians' friends, the environmentalists, shudder.
