Ditto, there is a big difference..W is promoting and encouraging a false heathan religion..he is not giving them the gospel! In fact he is letting them give their false gospel in his house from his podium.....

Big difference

As a believer in Jesus Christ I could not do that could you?

No, I could not. But even Christians can foul up royally. There is a man, a mere man, who has the weight of the world on his shoulders and no doubt advice coming from every place imaginable. I believe having the prayer service was wrong. I will not pat the President on the back for doing it. I am also not happy with the continual preaching of "Islam is a peaceful religion" when in fact it is one of the bloodiest and Satanic religions ever. However, I will not stand here and say President Bush is not a Christian, because up until now he has given strong evidence of being a Christian. Is he ill-advised? Yeah. Is he treading on dangerous spiritual ground. Yes. But this does not mean he is not a Christian. I've never seen him as having a super strong spiritual foundation, but I do believe he knows the Lord. Unfortunately, he is way off base here and rather than condemn him as a reprobate, we should pray with one voice that all voices of deception will be made to be of none effect in his administration and that he stands courageously for the ONE TRUE GOD, Jesus Christ.

The "Islam is a peaceful religion" comment does not come from an ignorance of the Islamic violence committed around the world daily. It's ludicrous to think that Bush would be that obtuse. It looks to me more like a triangulation statement. He's making a remark about what normative Islam practice ought to be. And since Muslim leaders across the world are trying to pose themselves as "peaceful," Bush is positioning world opinion to force them to live up to that claim.

I say the REAL translation of that remark is "Drop the mad dog stuff. Double quick. Or face the wrath of the world."
