It was just such a blatant rip-off of "Star Wars" and a poor one at that.
The "hot toy" this Christmas sure won't be "Norbert the Dragon".
Maybe "Nimbus 2000" will introduce a new generation to the joys of housework. >sarcasm<

I hated Star Wars since the very first one. I remember standing on line for 2 hours waiting to see it and after finally getting into our seats, we both started nodding out because it was a big yawn. It reminded me of Flash Gordon which also bored me.
I enjoyed Harry Potter because to me it was magical. There were monsters and evil figures and heroes- - -all the same elements as in the Star Wars films, but placed in the English countryside and with a 19th century flavor, I found it more enjoyable.
I love science fiction and my favorite films in that genre are 2001, A Space Odyssey, Third Encounters, Man Who Fell to Earth and all the Star Trek series, but Star Wars left me cold.
