I mentioned in my reply, but approximately one billion other men, women, and children who did not attack the World Trade Center.

Safe journey, but get with it. Quit smearing the fact that there are over 1 billion Muslims... WONDERFUL. However, there are well over a billion Christians, nearly a billion Hindus and nearly a billion Buddhist. So quit trying to scare people into believing that these 1 billion Muslims rule the world. We all know there are a billion Muslims even though the number keeps inflating over time, the Muslim raqueteers in the US declared that the University of Chicago is racist because it released a study claiming there were 4 million less Muslims in the US than previously thought. This is the kind of garbage that agrivates me. Yes, there are plenty of Muslims, but there is around 5 billion non-Muslims in the world.

I live in California and Ali is the only Muslim I know who's been outspoken in his appreciation of America. He's actually one of the few people in Sonoma County who believes that the United States didn't deserve to be attacked.

"I don't like politics and I don't understand them."

Sounds just like many men in America -- at least those who supported the Traitor/Pervert.

I'm disturbed the hatred and intolerance I see in the Qu'ran and by the wretched life Muhammand, who married nine-year olds, allowed his followers to rape the women of a defeated enemy and killed 120-year old Jewish men in their sleep.

Even the "moderate" Muslim countries like Saudi Arabia have no religious freedom, even for those worshipping in the own homes, and won't allow women to even drive cars.

Countless Muslim countries feature butchers that attack innocent civilians who happen to be Christian or Jewish. Millions of Muslims approve of the attack on the US and millions more refuse to condemn it. There is no way terrorism could be this widespread among Muslims unless the terrorism had it's roots in the Qu'ran. And I've seen verse after verse suggesting the Qu'ran is the foundation for the attacks on non-Muslims.

If Ms. Rini and her family don't like the criticism, they and other Muslims better start speaking out against the widespread terrorism , lack of freedom and abuse of women in Muslim nations and in the world at large. Better yet, she needs to stop following the false God of Islam and turn her life over to the true God.

Hitler and Clinton contradicted the Bible and Jesus Christ. The Islam terrorist behave as Muhammand did.

Dittoes to all and a salute to CG.

Lots of other good comments too, but the hour is late. Anyway...I totally agree. Allah doesn't equal God, nor can the Koran be seen as an adjunct to the Bible. It is God Who is a God of love, not Allah. The Bible tells us we have an innate dignity as God's creatures since we are made in the "image and likeness" of God.

Perhaps the reason fanatical Islamics can kill with abandon (aside from those 72 virgins [where do THEY come from?]) is because in Islam man is seen as Allah's servant, period. (That's what satan demands from his adherants, BTW.) Therefore, the believer himself can be seen as expendable.

How much more so the infidel, who is the subject of some decidedly UNloving and UNpeaceful passages in the Koran.

If Rini sees God as love, it's because her humanity has put her in touch with the law "written into man's heart"--NOT to be found in the Koran.

Furthermore, the Koran perverts the Bible in quoting it, saying the blessing from Abraham came down through Ismael not Isaac/Israel. So it's built on a lie.

Miss Rini, taking you at your word, I challenge you to read the Bible, the Word of God.

p.s. interesting point about no absolutes in the Koran. It's the old "The end justifies the means." The death of Jesus shows how one must never compromise by accepting that premise. In so doing, He showed His love for us and how to live fully.

Prometheus wrote: "You originally wrote, 'Too many of my fellow freepers seem to think that if you don't hate this young woman and everyone like her, you can't possibly love America.'

Now you say a 'small subset' of Freepers

Since when is too many a 'small subset'?"

Prometheus, a small subset of Freepers have expressed hatred for Muslims in general, but there still have definitely been too many! Both statements were true, and there was absolutely no contradiction between them. I have backed down from nothing.

It's analogous to saying, "only a small percentage of the world's one billion Muslims are terrorists, but there are still far too many." There is no contradiction.

Also, given that some Freepers certainly have expressed hatred for Muslims in general, how could that not include the young woman who wrote the article?

Good night, Prometheus.

My friend, Ronin, asked me to write this because he is very disturbed about the hatred of Islam that he is seeing on your board.

I do not hate Islam or Muslims.
I hate the act of terrorism and that people use God and religion and distort spiritual writings and beliefs for their own selfish evil desires.
I hate the fact that people turn a blind eye and do nothing to prevent their own people from committing mass murder of innocent civilians.
I hate it when people of similar faith do not speak out against extremism within their own community.
I hate it when my country men and country women have to go into foriegn lands and risk their lives to clean up other countries messes.
I hate the fact that the most generous nation on the planet gives so much to the world and gets nothing but criticism in return.
I hate that other nations and people worry about us hating them while ignoring the hatred many of their own people have for us.
I hate that we have to constantly defend ourselves from the hatred of radical extremists who are hell bent on trying to destroy our way of life, while having no better way of living to offer.
I hate ignorance in all it's forms and at the same time find ignorance within myself.
I love God and my country.
I am an American.

Perhaps you can encourage some of those people to come to New York any weekend and I will drop everthing I'm doing and take them into the city to see the site for their own eyes. It's quite humbling.

In fact, I encourage all Freepers to FLY here and see it for themselves. Moreover, I will accompany any FReeper to the site who requests my help. I know the trains, the airports, and I have two cars, as well to help out with. This is history in the making and it needs to be seen. Just Freepmail me with your intentions, and I will assist in any way possible.

God Bless America

Geat posts from both of you...

#114: "How come Muslims do not seek to help the victims? Instead, they just rail at the suspected profiling or persecution of Muslims and Arabs in the U.S. They appear to care not about those harmed and only care for themselves. How come we don't hear these same rants about the persecution of the Muslims by the Taliban and the abuses of Bin Laden against other Muslims if he indeed does not represent the Muslim faith?"

Because they are in the thrall of a devious, heretical death-cult.

#117: "You either don't understand the nature of original smear or you are backtracking from your "too many" smear."

Exactly. But he understood perfectly.

Have either of you seen this thread...?

"but"

The early Christian Church grew from the blood of Christ and the blood of those believers who were martyred by others rather than renounce their faith.

Seems to me that some folks are still being martyred in the world, and it appears those doing the martyring crash planes into buildings, put anthrax in the mail, and start wars around the world.

It doesn't appear to me that Christians are responsible for any of these horrific deeds.

True ignorance is denying that the Qu'ran and Muhammand are the motivation for the terrorism:

Muhammad is Allah’s apostle. Those who follow him are ruthless to the unbelievers but merciful to one another… Through them Allah seeks to enrage the unbelievers. Quran 48:29

Quran tells Muslims to kill the disbelievers wherever they find them (Q. 2:191), to murder them and treat them harshly (Q. 9:123), slay them (Q. 9: 5), fight with them, (Q. 8: 65 ) even if they are Christians and Jews, humiliate them and impose on them a penalty tax (Q. 9: 29). Quran takes away the freedom of belief from all humanity and tell clearly that no other religion except Islam is accepted (Q. 3: 85). It relegates those who disbelieve in Quran to hell (Q. 5:10), calls them najis (filthy, untouchable, impure) (Q. 9: 28). It orders its followers to fight the unbelievers until no other religion except Islam is left (Q. 2: 193). It says that the non-believers will go to hell and will drink boiling water (Q. 14: 17). It asks the Muslims to slay or crucify or cut the hands and feet of the unbelievers, that they be expelled from the land with disgrace and that “they shall have a great punishment in world hereafter” (Q.5: 34). “As for the disbelievers”, it says that “for them garments of fire shall be cut and there shall be poured over their heads boiling water whereby whatever is in their bowls and skin shall be dissolved and they will be punished with hooked iron rods” (Q. 22: 9). Quran prohibits a Muslim to befriend a non-believer even if that non-believer is the father or the brother of that Muslim (Q. 9: 23), (Q. 3: 28). Quran asks the Muslims to “strive against the unbelievers with great endeavor (Q. 25: 52), be stern with them because they belong to hell (Q. 66: 9). The holy Prophet demanded his follower to “strike off the heads of the disbelievers”; then after making a “wide slaughter among them, carefully tie up the remaining captives” (Q. 47: 4). As for women the book of Allah says that they are inferior to men and their husbands have the right to scourge them if they are found disobedient (Q. 4:34). It teaches that women will go to hell if they are disobedient to their husbands (Q. 66:10). It maintains that men have an advantage over the women (Q. 2:228). It not only denies the women's equal right to their inheritance (Q. 4:11-12), it also regards them as imbeciles and decrees that their witness is not admissible in the court (Q. 2:282). This means that a woman who is raped cannot accuse her rapist unless she can produce a male witness. Muhammad allowed the Muslims to marry up to four views and gave them license to sleep with their slave maids and as many “captive” women as they may have (Q. 4:3). He himself did just that. This is why anytime a Muslim army subdues another nation, they call them kafir and allow themselves to rape their women. Pakistani soldiers raped up to 250,000 Bangali women in 1971 after they massacred 3,000,000 unarmed civilians when their religious leader decreed that Bangladeshis are unislamic. This is why the prison guards in Islamic regime of Iran rape the women and then kill them after calling them apostates and the enemies of Allah.

Abu Afak.... The second incident involves another one of Muhammad's requests: this one for his men to murder an old 120-year-old Jewish man named Abu Afak. Abu Afak had urged his fellow Medinans to question Muhammad. The apostle said, "Who will deal with this rascal for me?" Whereupon Salim b. Umayr went forth and killed him. Umama b. Muzayriya said: You gave the lie to God's religion and the man Ahmad! [Muhammad] By him who was your father, evil is the son he produced! A "hanif" gave you a thrust in the night saying "Take that Abu Afak in spite of your age!" Though I knew whether it was man or jinn Who slew you in the dead of night (I would say naught). Salim Ibn Umayr said, "I take a vow that I shall either kill Abu Afak or die before him. He waited for an opportunity until a hot night came, and Abu Afak slept in an open place. Salim Ibn Umayr knew it, so he placed the sword on his liver and pressed it till it reached his bed. The enemy of Allah screamed and the people, who were his followers, rushed to him, took him to his house and interred him. Abu Afak was no physical threat to Muhammad, it was just an outright murder of another one of Muhammad's critics. Abu Afak urged the people who lived in Medina to doubt and leave Muhammad. Muhammad heard of this and viewed the 120-year-old man as a threat to his credibility, not to his life. Nowhere does it say that Abu Afak urged his fellow Arabs to attack or harm Muhammad. Yet for speaking his mind, he was murdered.

Ayesha the Child Wife of pedophile Muhammad

The thought of an old man becoming aroused by a child is one of the most disturbing thoughts that makes us cringe as it reminds us of pedophilia and the most despicable people. It is difficult to accept that the Holy Prophet married Ayesha when she was 6-years-old and consummated his marriage with her when she was 9. He was then, 54 years old.

Sahih Muslim Book 008, Number 3310:

'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported: Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) married me when I was six years old, and I was admitted to his house when I was nine years old.

Sahih Bukhari Volume 7, Book 62, Number 64

Narrated 'Aisha:

that the Prophet married her when she was six years old and he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old, and then she remained with him for nine years (i.e., till his death).

Sahih Bukhari Volume 7, Book 62, Number 65

Narrated 'Aisha: that the Prophet married her when she was six years old and he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old. Hisham said: I have been informed that 'Aisha remained with the Prophet for nine years (i.e. till his death)." what you know of the Quran (by heart)'

Sahih Bukhari Volume 7, Book 62, Number 88

Narrated 'Ursa: The Prophet wrote the (marriage contract) with 'Aisha while she was six years old and consummated his marriage with her while she was nine years old and she remained with him for nine years (i.e. till his death).
