The really funny thing is that had they dropped their support of The Rapist, and had The Rapist been convicted, Algore would have been an incumbent president with a reasonably good economy. He would not have had to try to disenfranchise black Republicans and throw out military votes in an attempt to steal Florida. The support of The Rapist cost them big.
