NIGHTLINE UPDATE: In the last hour, the governor of Connecticut has announced that a woman in her 90's may have anthrax. She has been hospitalized for several days, and was thought originally to have pneumonia, but several preliminary tests have come back positive for anthrax. The results of a more definitive test by the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta may be available as early as tomorrow morning. We are changing our broadcast for tonight. We'll have the latest on this case, which doesn't fit any of the previous patterns, and John Donvan will report on the history of anthrax and how little is actually known about how it acts.
