I would be very concerned with this newly liberated fat circulating in the bloodstream. I suppose the good doctors expect this fat to merely be excreted in the urine? Or maybe it would be redeposited somewhere else.. another part of the body, or maybe the arteries, leading to coronary heart disease... I have to see more info on this technique..
I would be very concerned with this newly liberated fat circulating in the bloodstream. I know. It doesn't sound good, does it? There was more detail in the paper version of the article, though, which said that sessions are limited to a pound of fat at a time. Since fat is fluffy, a pint of the stuff carefully targetted would be cosmetically significant without (maybe) being medically dangerous.
By the time the FDA approves it, I'll probably be losing weight the old fashioned way: by decomposing.
