The papers include addresses of individuals living in Canada and Italy, letters listing the names of young recruits hoping to join bin Laden's al Qaeda network, and lists of people who lived in the houses. It is not known whether false names were used on the documents.Whoa! The Taliban must have been surprised if they left behind names and addresses of their worldwide organization. What a treasure trove!
I doubt they had time to destroy their computer HDs either so a wealth of information will surely be gleaned from that.
Canada and Italy, but not the U.S.--interesting.

Not only is this a treasure trove of intelligence, which might lead to many more arrests, it should finally remove any doubt about OBL's responsibility for 9-11.

Maps believed to be used by
the Al Qaeda terror network -- including one listing the location of power
plants in Europe, Africa and Asia -- were found in abandoned houses in Kabul.
