Just a tidbit to tuck away in case it fits in later:
UM employee fired over Sept. 11 remarks
Mohammad Rahat worked as a research technician in two departments of the university (which may have antrax samples?): microbiology and immunology, and surgery/transplants. He was suspended on Sept. 20 and fired on Sept. 25, allegedly for his remarks. But did the universiy suspect him of stealing bacteria or using its facilities for personal projects? It wouldn't be the first "oops!" where an employee is fired for one reason, but the public is given another.
The first case of anthrax turned up in Miami. Did he send some of his "stock" to one of our physician "friends" in Chester? I would think it wouldn't be at all odd for a physician to get a package from the university.
