Enough of the Hillary bashing. What everyone here sees as Hillary pouting over the loss of her liberal agenda and political prospects is really just her sadness over the terrible loss of life on 9/11. This hit her particularly hard as a U.S. Senator from New York. Further, as a liberal, and the smartest woman in the world, she feels the pain of others far more acutely than anyone else. I realize that many people may disagree with my assessment because her involvement in events like TravelGate when she momentarily lost control of her humanist self when she fired the travel office employees and tried to get the FBI to convict them on trumped up charges. Or during FileGate when she slipped again when she ordered some misguided operatives to steal 1,000 FBI files on republicans. Or when sensibility eluded her when her car hit a policeman recently after a photo op and the car never stopped. This is not the real Hillary. No one is perfect. Let's cut Hillary some slack.

What was her problem? She looked mad and mean, with a scowl on her face and a hard glint in her eye. Her hand-clapping was tepid, and it appeared that she wasn’t even listening to the speech.

It wasn't her fault. The ghost of Eleanor Roosevelt was standing next to her, making sarcastic remarks.

"...but Hillary was pissed off, about what we’ll never know."

I could venture a guess. Hhhmm....could it be because she was seeing all her designs and machinations crumbling before her eyes? Or could it be that she knew in the face of the leader she saw before her, that her political career was toast? Or maybe she knew she had underestimated President Bush as so many others had and her days of hiding the Clintons' dirty deeds were numbered? There are so many possibilities, but you can bet none of them had to do with anything but her.

"...but Hillary was pissed off, about what we'll never know...."

That a Republican president was doing so well, perhaps?

Dunne knows all too well how little it would take for his Hollyweird pals to turn on him so he must have realized it was safe to bash her heinous.

I think her rude behaviour was a signal to her sycophants to follow her 'lead'. It badly backfired, the nation is in no mood to play politics while thousands are buried in the rubble of WTC.... Once again, she has shown her disdain for this country but at least now, some people are opening their eyes.

SInce she got into office, she hasn't done anything to really prepare for being a Pres. candidate...her cynicism and apathy are dragging her down...good.

I think it was Dunne who stated shortly after President Clinton left office, that while this ex-president might be bright and charismatic, his absolute "congenital" lack of class, and blatant money grubbing ways, reduced him to the archetype of the bright politico with dog swipe perpetually on his heel.

When does she NOT look like this?
