Dunne is a naive booby, still under the illusion that Hillary has great political instincts, charm and smarts.I guess stealing the flatware from the WH wasn't enough to turn him off, it was here inability to fake her enthusiasm that turned the tide? This fool ought to retire...

The government was swept away in patriotic fervor, but Hillary was pissed off, about what well never know. After the 1,258,922nd intern, that probably wouldn't phase her, so I, like Dominick, wonder, what pissed her off?

Hillary was pissed off, about what well never know.

Very simple. When the airplanes hit the WTC. overnight she was no longer the cvter of attention and she noo longer had the 2004 presidency in the palm of her hand.

She looked mad and mean, with a scowl on her face and a hard glint in her eye. Hmmm. Sounds like the true face of the typical contemporary liberal.

Can't wait to read the entire article. Glad Dominick, who I feel is a wonderful storyteller is finally getting it. Sometimes it takes the straw that broke the camels back to get someone to awaken.

Hillary was pissed off, about what well never know. That's easy: about the fact that those 5,000+ people weren't murdered on BUBBER's watch.

Ahhhh...If only these media types could have said the same things about Hellery during the Klintons' eight years in office. I am sure that her manners, or lack thereof, were even more appalling.
I was angry that the camera was focusing on Hellery during President Bush's speech. In retrospect, is has shown many people the true nature of Hellery and her husband.
Maybe the camerman is a Freeper and he was doing everyone a favor.

[Excerpt from Dunne's
next Vanity Fair column:]
...in my last column. Well, Hillary personally phoned me and told me that during Mr. Bush's speech she [insert PC, sympathetic "trouble" here].
What a truly wonderful lady Hillary is!
She was so strong that she bravely suffered in silence over [insert PC, sympathetic "trouble" here] and still fulfilled her duty to go to that speech even though [insert PC, sympathetic "trouble" here]!

Gosh, I've been trying to post for 1/2 hour, would have been #1, except I made a few mistakes.
Okay, I read DD's book a while back, I don't rememeber the name.
My thought is, he sees which way the wind is blowing and has changed his (tune? sails?) sorry , hubby & I had a few glasses of wine tonight. Hard to Freep.
DD is a very good writer, but I also think he, like everyone else in the "intellectual set" (or whatever you want to call it) in the Northeast, is politically sensitive. :)

The government was swept away in patriotic fervor, but Hillary was pissed off, about what well never know. How strange, I though, the second time the camera cut to her, that a person who had lived in the public eye as the First Lady for eight years could allow herself to be caught in that mood. Hidebeast is no longer queen and can no longer micro-control the cameras. This is not a new Hillary. Mr. Dunne just got a glimpse of her without the mind-numb admiration of the liberal lens.

It's called ARROGANCE Dominick. As an astute reader of personalities, I'm surprised it took you so long to figure this out - WOW, we Republicans/Conservatives should be given much more credit for being educated, insightful, and not so berated! That's called TOLERANCE - something the DEMOCRATS ARE TOTALLY LACKING THESE DAYS OF POLITICAL CORRECTNESS - what a joke that was! Political correctness is nothing more than a Democratic/ala Clintonian aberration.

Dunne, the fact that it took you so long to see the light speaks for itself. This reminds me of the Afgahn warriors switching back and forth between sides.

I LOVE it! I read Mr. Dunne's books and articles..and it is refreshing to read this. I have this latest Vanity Fair upstairs, and I can't wait to read in tonight. Thank you for being fair, and speaking out, Mr. Dunne! God Bless America P.S.: Can't wait to see what he writes about the boos at the benefit concert

Are you sure Clinton butt-boy Dunne wrote this article?
I don't think "pissed off" is even in his vocabulary.
Furthermore, it is difficult to believe he would ever use such a term describing his feelings towards HRC, he being such a suck-up to the Hildebeast.
