Renaming a building is an unimportant nicety. It makes the Kennedy's less apt to go for the jugular, it costs nothing, and few people will ever say..."I'm going over to Kennedy." They will still say "I'm going over to Justice."
Exactly. Although the Department of Justice will also be renamed to the Ministry of Love (MINILOV) next week.
Nice try you Drudge basher. Anyone with a first grade IQ will see that Drudge cited the Roemer legislation which specifically does the following:
"An amendment to name the Department of Justice Building at 10th and Constitution Avenue in Washington, DC, the "Robert F. Kennedy Department of Justice Building.".
Maybe Drudge should require an IQ test before he lets you near his website?
RFK had a real hard on for Carlos Marcello, New Orleans mafia head. Justice could not get him in court. One day three agents from Justice took Marcello into custody when he came out of a building in NO. They flew him to, I think, Guatamala and released himin the mountains without any money.
Eventually, he got down to a city and worked his way back home.

The least he could do would be to name it after an Attorney General who actually obeyed the law while in office and upheld the Constitution.

But i think Drudge was trying to stir-up some shi+ when he put the Ted "stay-here-I'll-go-for-help" Kennedy image above the home-page headline.
Bobby boy went after the Kennedy's enemies and friends, namely the mob. After the mob got Johnny the presidency with the help of Daly and all the dead Chicago voters, Bobby reniged on the deal which caused Johnny to get what usually happens to those who cross the mob. Remember, the drag queen LEO Hoover refused to even admit the mob existed untill Bobby went on his anti mafia jihad while attorney general. BTW, no real honor there, just a cheap populist political show. The Kennedys have been in bed with the mob since before Joe even thought of fathering that collection of dirtballs he called his children, and la cosa nostra was offended when they tried to act like they weren't the scumbags they are.
