WASHINGTON -- The brightening and dimming of the sun may account for a 1,500-year cycle of cooling and warming on parts of the Earth, a study of ice in the North Atlantic suggests.
Researchers found that a very slight difference in the amount of solar energy reaching the Earth can have a powerful chilling effect on the climate: Ice builds up in lands bordering the North Atlantic, and the average temperature drops in Europe and North America.

Even the Associated Press can't escape it though they'll through in a Greenhouse Effect sentence for "balance". Note that the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere attributed to the industrial revolution is a single digit percentage. And at that, CO2 only represents a small portion of the greenhouse gases. The biggest is water vapor at 70%.
I'm not saying we shouldn't reduce pollution emissions, but Chicken Littles should not be deciding policy.
To end global warming, we will have to extinguish the sun!
