Heavenly Father as we come to the close of another workweek, I thank You for all the blessings that You have bestowed upon us. Lord, I know I am not worthy to even come to You and ask forgiveness for my sins and ask that You guide my heart and my actions that I may not sin against You. Feel me with Your spirit and guide me so that all those around me may see You through me. I pray for the silent requests that You know of that we may not. I pray that You open the hearts of those that are fighting You and their loved ones every step of the way. I pray for those that are sick and distressed that You may heal their bodies in such a way that You receive the glory. All this in the name of Your beloved Son and our Saviour, Jesus Christ. If it be Your Will not ours that is done. Amen

My father-in-law will begin rehab for his knee today, and will continue for the next week.
We're hoping he is allowed to come home on Thanksgiving.
Please pray for his recovery, last year he had the other knee done and the results were so-so.

Sarah just called me at work and said the police are calling everyone in the neighborhood. Seems a man killed someone just a few blocks from our home a sort while ago. The murderer is at large and still armed. Please pray for Sarah's safety, and the safety of all our neighbors. Thank you, brothers and sisters!

Praise report of sorts. The front of my neighbor's house caught fire this afternoon. The fire was contained only to the exterior, no one was injured. They are still searching for a cause.

Please pray for my neighborhood. Some people have moved in next to us that are trouble and have been swearing at my best friend's parents and their own children. They have had their children forcibly removed several times. These women are on parole and living here with their children, and definitely do not fit the profile of the neighborhood.
