I do not believe that any member of her family, including herself, has a sincere bone in their bodies.
After her magazine interview flopped, she has taken a new tack in order to recover her regal status.
I wager that when we suffer casualties in the war against terrorism or something else triggers another epiphany, she can attribute her future anti-American lambasts to "evolving as a person; maturing politically; or seeing the light".
I agree with a former poster, this was clearly scripted by her pathetic mother.

T, when you have some time visit this thread about chels.
Mash here! You won't believe the sanctimoniousness of a couple of posters who think it's oh so bad to diss chels looks. Makes me want to hurl!! At #88 I finally lose my temper and let OM have it! grrrrrrrr!

Freepers for Chelsea? About three so far, including self. Future dignified Republican gal possibility. (Long way in the future). You all heard it here.

You're right. This past year has been the first time Chelsea has not been a prop in her parents' careers, at least not entirely. This is her first chance to get out and about. I believe she was the only Clinton who was in NY at the time of the attack and her mother tried to score political points by lying about it. This is her chance to see the world through her eyes, instead of the warped eyes of her parents. Anything's possible!

And isn't that mighty convenient to have Chelsea show up and stand up for America right after she whined about the anti-American sentiment in Great Britain. Sorry, I don't believe a word coming from anyone in the Clinton family.

Hey, wasn't it Stalin's daughter who came to the West and wrote a book about him? Fidel's daughter is here too, and an adamant foe of communism and her father.

According to Chelsea's "first person" report for Talk magazine, her thoughts as she wandered aimless through Manhattan were all jumbled, but they included immediate criticism of the Bush tax cut and thanks to God for the fact Hillary was a senator, among other things. Not once did she mention concern for victims. Now that the interview flopped, thanks to mummy's heavy hand, she's playing patriot and yelling, "Remember the victims!" Ha. Pardon my scepticism.

Clearly the "daughter" is capable of the same things her parents are - wrapping herself in the Flag when it suits her purposes to do so. I still swear she is the spawn of Webb Hubbell - compare the two mugs.

Thanks PhiKapMom.

We all must remember that Chelsea was not raised by Bill and Hillary. Her grandmother
and all the nannies she's had all her life deserve the credit for any good sense she has.
