Through our children's lives we watch as time goes by,
A child or grandchild, pleasing to the heart and eye.
For them liberty and freedom must surely last,
These things binding us, perpetually, to our past.
No chains or slavery for them I continually pray,
These things I'll defend till my dying day.

For my life will have been poorly spent,
And my soul would be surely rent.
If we should lose our liberty today,
Our children's children will never know the way.
Of how our lives are supposed to be,
Or what it means to live truly free.

My humble attempt at prose to you and yours, Sir, may God bless you and keep you safely.
As always,
Phil

Amen to that!

Thanks for the prose! A song of the hear is a prayer unto God in my way of thinking ... and He hears and answers prayer.
