BTW...how much did Ghandi weigh when he started his Fast Fer Justice? Then, how long was it before he started eating solid food again? And how much weight did he lose over that period?!

I dunno about weights, but I know he fasted several times in protest of the British. Three different times he fasted for 21 days each (!), and each time Ghandi won the freedoms he was looking for. He also organized mass fasts of three and five days for the Indian people.

Of course, every picture you see of the guy shows him skinny as a rail, so it's not like he had a lot of weight to lose to begin with...
