One of the best FReepers I've never met, IMHO. I credit him with addicting me to FR...he just seemed to understand the potential power of the medium before a lot of other folks did. He actually took off three weeks from work one time and basically FReeped 24/7 calling for the Re-Impeachment of Der SchleekMeister and was actually so successful he got interviewed by John McCaslin in the Washington Times Weekly for getting over a quarter-million cyber-signatures calling for Clinton's Re-Impeachment...this time for TREASON, Bribery, and Abuse of Power. I provided musical accompaniment (LOL) and as much bumpage as I could, but he was definitely the man. Someday, I'll have to link you to his "FReeper ToolKit" which was an excellent Macro program for FReeper Activism.

Anyway...I haven't spoken with my FRiend in a coupla years...he got burnt out and decided to start focusing on his job again, but someday I look forward to seeing him reply to a bump.

ThePrescientOne foresaw such a use for Mr. Cruce's work years ago and has a number of hard-copies of his work piled up in the MudCave...that might be a good idea for one of these upcoming "Black" threads.

One thing I need to do is get the FReeperPowers-That-Be to unblock the archives for the first half of '99 (seems we can pull up archives of threads done from approximately 7/99 to present). I've been uncovering a number of hard-copies of threads from the Spring of '99 that really get to the meat of Clinton's VILE Actions in Kosovo that year (and the Medyuh's Sycophantic BubbaButtBussin'!!)

Howdy, Mister Robinson...I realize that the Fund-raisinbg goal for this season's FReep-A-Thon is $80K...how much more $$ would it take for us to have the capacity to access ALL the FReeper archives or AT LEAST all of '99?!

It doesn't take money. It's going to take a lot of manual effort. We've restored most of the archives already, but there are several thousand that we could not bring back until they are manually reviewed. We cannot allow any LA Times or Washington Post articles to be in our archives. The variable format of some of the earlier theads did not necessarly have the source of the article in a consistant form so that a program could pick them out and eliminate them automatically. John wrote a program that cycled through all of the old archives and restored all that did not have the words Los Angeles Times or Washington Post (with all of several various spellings, mispellings, and abbreviations, etc.). The articles that did not get restored will now have to be reviewed to see if they are from one of these sources or just mention them in the commentary. John will have to write a couple more programs to allow us to do this, and then we will need to recruit a hundred people or more to help out with the chore. It will be labor intensive. Probably won't happen until next year sometime. Thanks, Jim
