I don't even want to think about Algore being President NOW! I didn't think I could hate the media conglomeration any more than I already do. I WAS WRONG!
Talk about EVIL BIG BUSINESS. Yet, they can't compete with little ole' FOX NEWS!

A liberal friend I work with kept telling me he read on the internet that "Gore won the recount by a gigantic margin-it's gonna be a huge deal!" Heck, the best they could do was tack on 171 illegal votes to make Gore the winner? And what about the uncounted absentee military ballots? Were they counted in this as well? This is really nothing but a big joke and a non story.
To: kcvl
All outcomes were closer than the 537 votes of Bush's official victory, the media outlets will claim, while noting it would be impossible to interpret the survey results as definitive, with such narrow margins in all directions.

42 to 171 votes???!! That's absurd. This report, IMHO, more than validates Bush's election. Had it been 10,000 votes, it may have been different. What a ridiculous waste of time on the part of the media. It also says in all the cases that Gore argued for, W still wins. They can only get Gore over the top, and then barely that, if they do something that Gore and his legal team didn't even ask for. Not to mention the military ballots thrown out and the disaster in the panhandle.

Great line!!! Hey...I bet you could sell that one to Leno! Ha Ha Ha Ha!!
To: Republican Wildcat
*sigh* No kidding. The Republicrats in Congress refused to declare war, and now you're in the unenviable position of defending people who don't think that 5000 dead is war-worthy.

What is an undervote or an overvote? Isn't it an invalid vote because on an error on the part of the voter?
Too bad algore because that means:
W1!
Now if the news media and the deadrats can get over it and move on with the business of the American people...we got a friggen war to win, morons!
To: Cultural Jihad
"Do 'undervotes' include those in the panhandle who were discouraged by the media from voting?" nope...but its funny, if mrs bill klinton hadn't been so "down on cigarettes",
they may have been able to give enough away to "win", the election...hahhahhahahahaaa....

So basically what the media is saying if you count all the disqualified ballots, Gore won. How many other elections would result in a different candidate if we counted disqualified ballots? Why bother disqualfying ballots? Just make it a free for all.

The Korean WAR wasn't a war...it was a CONFLICT....but the people that fought it thought it was a war and so it was. What do you call the war we are in right now?

I thought we were all suppose to UNITE. Damn, they couldn't stand George W. getting all that great support(they were forced to report). If they think this is going to change anything I have news for them.
Let's see...we're suppose to believe the (tough)media that gave us Hillary Rodham Clinton, New York's JUNIOR senator?! I don't think so!!!

I suppose there are two possibilities: Either it's not a war, or it's an unconstitutional war.
To: Wphile
the disaster in the panhandle<< Excellent point. Even commie lib Bob Beckel did a report that claimed Bush was jipped out of approx. 8,000 votes because of the early call for Gore in Florida.

George W. Bush is my President. No doubt about it!!!

Does this mean that the next media reports will be: what impact will this have on Bush's approval ratings? Are they now going to report every two-point fluctuation as the American People changing their minds in light of this "new information?"

You are right, all liberals were saying Sore won by 30,000+ votes.
42-171 votes count for Sore is a joke. After all the rats didn't allow more than 1000+ armed forces votes to be counted.
Never forget if Panhandle had voted till 7.00 p.m CST, W would have won by 9,000+ votes. Nader ..lol.... did cost Gore the election in FL ...lol

It may be wishful thinking here, but there is the chance that all of this will backfire on the media/DemocRATs, and they will be treated with the disgust that they so richly deserve.
