Vetnet is co-writer. He did the re-write with me and came up with the suggestions that really set the tone and made it work, particularly near the end of the song. The input was invaluable.

Yep, I am still in awe of how Vetnet got this produced so quickly and so professionally.

Net U.S. CD sales will go to a fund as directed by Mike Moran. We have asked for his help to determine where money should go.

Mike contacted me to say that he loved the song when he saw the lyrics and heard the music. Vetnet sent him a dozen CDs.

This is a costly proposition. If anyone has any ideas for a corporate sponsor, we'd like to hear. An Irish whiskey producer or a dreaded tobacco company might like their logo on the jacket as a sponsor.

Forget cigarettes and booze.
How about talking to Bailey's IRISH Cream as a sponsor, just in time for their MASSIVE holiday ad campaign?

I think Guinness is a natural for it, and they have the big bucks to make it happen. They would be crazy to miss this opportunity. Guinness, the mother's milk of Irishmen everywhere, sponsoring a defiant patriotic anthem that will appeal to their demographic base. It's perfect. Go for it!

Ladies and gentlemen, a toast to doug from upland and Vetnet, on an amazing job well done!

My grandparents on mom's side came over here from Ireland in 1928. I can easily see my Irish cousins still in County Tyrone singing this song at the top of their lungs down at the pub. I'm going to send one over there to the Emerald Isle.
