I hope they have improved their profiling techniques since the Unabomber case.
This entire profile is absolute crap and an attempt to
avoid having the bio attacks be construed as enemy
action. Where is the analysis of the Florida anthrax
attack, that preceeded all others? Why is it
excluded? Perhaps because it occurred only a mile or
so from where the hijackers lived?
There is a clear preference by the FBI to maintain its own
no doubt supplemental funding by avoiding a label be put
on these events that implies "warfare". When it's
warfare, DoD gets that funding. There is empire protecting
going on here.
The FBI's profilers have generally been pretty good. While the Unabomber may have taken a while, they have done very well in catching serial killers.
