No, I believe there have been plenty of martyrs; far, far too many martyrs. My point is that modern Brits don't have much of a choice, having been disarmed by their own government. I *do* have a choice, and my choice would be to resist to my last breath.

To be, or not to be, that is the question. Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, or to take arms against a sea of troubles, and by opposing, end them.

Congratulations on missing the point completely. Of course modern Brits have a choice! Everyone has a choice! That's what martyrdom is all about.

Your point is that you reject the choice, in favor of something else.

How warped! There have not yet been enough martyrs:
