Gun Safety Measure #2: Permanent retention of all firearm sales records to ensure that law-enforcement officials can track terrorists, citizens, trace their weapons, and know what threats they are facing when they attempt to apprehend these criminals. This is her REAL goal.

And when I recently saw Mandy Patimkin in a theater concert, he was trying to raise funds for PAX (the group that has parents call the parents of their children's kids to see if they own guns) and some other anti-gun organization. They just can't get past the mental barrier that guns can help the "good guys" stop the "bad guys" and do so much more often than they hurt good people.

There is compelling evidence that terrorists are stockpiling high-powered weapons and ammunition obtained from unregulated gun markets in this country

Really? Why haven't the usual suspects, Rather, Jennings and Brokaw reported this? Losers...

A generous donor, who wishes to remain anonymous, has issued a challenge to our members and supporters. For every dollar contributed, up to $200,000 in the next 30 days, a 50 percent match will be made. For example, a gift of $50 will be worth $75 with our donor's gift.

Obviously they are appealling to the more intellectual segment of society.

Meanwhile, the National Rifle Association, with its deep pockets, continues to try to exploit the September terrorist attacks as a reason to buy more guns.

Oh, the shame. What dastardly people they must be to suggest that protecting yourself is important now that we know there are terrorists in the country.

Actually, I don't think self-defense is any more critical now than 9/10/01 but if the Gun Control Nuts can abuse that date, so can the NRA.

Shalom.

I think it probably wouldn't be such a hot idea to be an Arab terrorist looking to purchase firearms at a gun show in a private deal these days.

I wonder why the Million Morons are having donation problems and the NRA is not?
Hmmmmmmm.

That message has so many internal contradictions that I lost count.
What a bunch of losers.

Where does the NRA pockets come from? 4-5 Million members maybe?

On the same note, MCRGO does NOT have deep pockets(especially our PAC:( ), but we still get by.

The difference is that the Brady Bunch/MMM only has money. They don't have grass roots support. That's obvious because they cancelled the Lansing Rally earlier this year in a state that Alwhore won.

BTW - Doc, do you have any scouts there taking down their strategies? I'd love to see a report on their meeting, so I can pass it around here in Michigan.

Bwahahaha! Who is exploiting the tragedy? What hypocritical imbeciles. They are trying to scare people into supporting them by citing 9-11, which is what they accuse the NRA of doing. Obviously, armed "good guys" can stop armed "bad guys". If the good guys can't get arms, the bad guys will still get their arms through "unregulated gun markets" -- THE BLACK MARKET!

HCI, Brady and all these gun grabbers wish to destroy our way of life (and so do the terrorists) -- for those who give up liberty for a little security will get neither liberty nor security!

Regretfully, I must report to you that in the aftermath of the September 11 terrorist attacks on America, we have been forced to make significant cut backs in our programs

I think the Brady Org's need to be "VISA FREEPED" like folks are doing to the Clinton Library Fund.

See this thread: Freeping the Creep's Library

It appears that if you donate $.03 via Credit Card it ends up costing them about $1 or $2 to process the the transaction.
A net loss in useable funds.

"[A]s donors nationwide have mourned the loss of more than 6,000 precious lives and have rightly focused on helping the victims of the tragedy."
"The Brady Campaign and Brady Center have not been exempt from this sharp downturn in contributions from the public."

Ms. Brady, put two & two together. Americans are helping the victims, YOU are not being helped, YOU are not the victim, and YOU are not the solution.
YOU are the problem.
