That is so neat. Please give that teacher a big ole hug and thank her for inspiring patriotism and caring in our children.

If you get some pictures that are hard to discern, why not ask the child what he/she is depicting and write it on the back. And, of course, we expect a full report and sharing of some of the pics...

It was so much fun...they decorated the stockings with snowflakes, beads, little bells and glitter pens. They had each drawn a picture of the Statue of LIberty to put in their stocking.

We took a break and went to the Veteran's Day assembly and did the Pledge of Alliegence, sang the Star Bangled Banner and God Bless America...they did a tribute to veterans and each of the Armed Services.

I kept tearing up as I looked around the entire school with their hands on their hearts singing and paying tribute to the military...it was beautiful.

They signed an autograph book with stuff like..You're very brave and nice people. Your country thanks you...Thanks for doing this for our country..Roses are red, violets are blue, I love our country and I hope you do too...some put their pictures in the book.

Will try to scan a stocking and a picture of the Statue of Liberty.

God Bless President Bush!!
