The Greek Church is the largest private land owner in Israel and Palestine.

God may have given Abraham the promised land but the Greeks were the only ones who held on to the titles and deeds. The Church I am sure is grateful for the timely payments on the rents due to it by its tenants in Israel and Palestine.
