I believe the first time I saw cheese referenced it was by OWK (test for you: what does OWK stand for?). It was on a stupid question or departing opus thread many, many moons ago. He just said "I like cheese" and it took off from there. It has now become a kind of cult thing, one that generates laughs every time, unlike the whole "Your base belong to us" crap that has gotten way out of hand......
BTW: I Swiss cheese!

In the US at the deli counter the plain jane cheese is called "American Cheese" in both the white and yellow colors.
I have been told that up in Canada (the Frozen North) that "our" American cheese becomes "Canadian Cheese" at their deli counters.
Could some kind person from the land of the beaver and the maple leaf let me know if this is true?
